Home Health Licensed Practical Visit Nurse LPN Full Time

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our home health care team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and surrounding areas. In this full-time position, you will provide skilled nursing care that enables patients to recuperate from illness or injury in the comfort of their own homes.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Full-time position

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care including treatments and preventative measures such as wound care, infusion therapy, catheter care, and PICC line dressing changes
• Maintain clinical record documentation according to company policy, procedures, and state and federal regulations
• Coordinate and support total client care
• Consult with the attending physician team regarding alterations to the plan of care
• Communicate verbally with clients, family members, and team members in a respectful manner
• Obtain medical history of clients and keep records up to date

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of application
• Valid CPR certification
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of LPN experience in a health care setting
