Home Health Licensed Practical Nurse

Signature Healthcare at Home is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide home health services throughout Whatcom County, Washington. This full-time position involves traveling to patients' homes for the majority of the workday, with occasional in-person meetings at the company office in Bellingham. The role offers autonomy to schedule your own patients and set your own daily schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist with developing comprehensive plans of care
• Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient services
• Manage pain and symptoms appropriately, evaluate patient responses to treatment and medication
• Use and prepare supplies or equipment efficiently
• Complete mandatory education requirements and compliance training
• Meet productivity expectations within hourly status
• Daily drive to patients' homes and complete documentation on a smartphone
• Participate in case conferences and case management with other nursing staff
• May be required to work outside designated assigned areas based on census or staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program
• Currently licensed and maintaining licensure in Washington
• Valid driver's license and personal automobile with insurance for daily travel
• Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• One to two years of nursing experience
• Community health or medical/surgical experience
• Home health experience or eagerness to grow in the field

Schedule and Compensation

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, day shift
• Hourly rate: $35-40 per hour, eligible for overtime
• Mileage reimbursement provided
