Home Health care Registered Nurse- pediatric experience

Brightstar Care of Lakeland and Winter Haven is seeking a Registered Nurse with pediatric experience to provide skilled in-home nursing care to children in the Lakeland, FL area. This role offers the opportunity to deliver personalized, high-quality care in patients' homes while working independently and building meaningful relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled in-home nursing care to pediatric patients according to physician-ordered care plans
• Perform clinical assessments and monitor patient progress
• Document clinical findings accurately and maintain timely documentation in compliance with state and agency standards
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
• Educate patients and family members on care procedures, medications, and health management
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and care team members to ensure continuity of care
• Respond to changes in patient condition and adjust care plans as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license in good standing
• Pediatric nursing experience
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient/family education abilities
• Ability to work independently
