High School Nurse

Solebury School, a progressive boarding and day school in New Hope, Pennsylvania, is seeking a School Nurse to provide health services to students, faculty, and staff in grades 9–12. This full-time, 12-month position offers the opportunity to work with teenagers in a close-knit community where nurses serve as trusted adults and important sources of support beyond clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct health care to students, faculty, and staff
• Manage medications and maintain health records
• Communicate with families and colleagues regarding student health
• Coordinate medical appointments and transportation
• Work collaboratively with the Director of Health Services

Clinical Setting

You will work in a school health services environment serving a community of more than 240 students in a boarding and day school setting.

Schedule

This position requires a mix of day, evening, and weekend shifts, coordinated with the Director of Health Services. You will work 4–5 shifts weekly. Flexibility and a willingness to work evenings and weekends are required. Summer opportunities are also available.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program
• Current Pennsylvania LPN or RN license
• Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• School nursing experience
• Experience working with adolescents
• Magnus Health experience

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $62,000–$66,000 annually
