Methodist Healthcare System is recruiting an acute care nurse practitioner to support the heart failure and transplant program in San Antonio, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to work within the largest heart transplant program in Texas and contribute to a world-class cardiovascular services organization.
Clinical Setting
Methodist Healthcare System is the largest provider of cardiovascular services in South Texas and the largest healthcare provider in South and Central Texas, operating 28 facilities including nine acute care hospitals. The organization performs over 1,000 cardiovascular surgeries and 6,200+ catheterization and electrophysiology procedures annually across 811 licensed beds and 25 operating suites. The heart failure and transplant program has saved over 500 lives through its transplant services.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program
- Acute care certified nurse practitioner
- Texas license or eligibility for Texas licensure
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cardiac surgery or CVICU
