Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Gynecologic Oncology team at Piedmont Fayetteville Hospital. This full-time position works under physician supervision in an outpatient clinical setting, providing care to gynecologic oncology patients. The role includes some call responsibility shared among multiple providers.

Clinical Setting

You will work in an outpatient gynecologic oncology clinic with responsibilities that extend to inpatient hospital rounding and emergency room consultations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Round on and manage patients admitted to the hospital as inpatients
  • Perform standard exams and procedures for initial evaluation of inpatient and emergency room consults
  • Provide consultations and evaluate patients in the office setting with supervision and clinical guidance as needed
  • Participate in the monthly call schedule shared by two physicians and another APP
  • Assist with management and triaging of clinical-related patient phone calls
  • Manage results, prescription requests, patient messages, and inquiries via EPIC (the health system EMR)
  • Coordinate chemotherapy treatments
  • Augment the physician's ability to provide medical services to gynecologic oncology patients
  • Contribute to excellent patient care, research, teaching, consulting, and leadership within the organization
  • Emphasize health promotion for patients

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree from an accredited PA program with National Board Certification, OR
  • Current Georgia state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with National Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Gynecology experience
