Full-Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP / PA| Inpatient | Collaborative, Physician-Led

Ally Psychiatry, a physician-owned and physician-led psychiatric medical group, is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant to join the inpatient team in Augusta, Georgia. This role focuses on acute care psychiatry in a structured, collaborative environment with strong clinical support and a sustainable schedule.

Clinical Setting

You will practice in a dynamic inpatient psychiatric setting, providing care to patients with acute psychiatric needs. Ally Psychiatry operates across nine states with partnerships spanning more than 55 hospitals and nearly 20 outpatient clinics, offering established clinical infrastructure and support staff to allow you to focus on patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management for inpatient populations
• Participate in daily rounding, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and care teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care coordination
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Board certification as a PMHNP or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience or strong mental health background
• Licensed or license-eligible in Georgia
• Georgia DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
• Comfortable working in an inpatient psychiatric setting
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage acute psychiatric presentations

Compensation and Employment

• Full-time position
• $125,000+ annually based on experience
