Ally Psychiatry, a physician-led psychiatric medical group, is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient clinic in Omaha, Nebraska, in partnership with the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). This is a Monday through Friday position with no on-call duties, providing comprehensive psychiatric care to both children and adults with a primary focus on patients with autism, developmental disabilities, and intellectual disabilities.
Clinical Setting
You will work in a 100% outpatient environment within an established practice supported by a strong referral network. Ally Psychiatry operates across nine states with partnerships spanning more than 55 hospitals and nearly 20 outpatient clinics. You will collaborate with supervising psychiatrists, therapists, and experienced clinical staff to deliver coordinated, team-based care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide medication management while monitoring patient progress and adjusting care as needed
- Collaborate with supervising psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and wellness strategies to support lasting outcomes
Schedule
Monday through Friday with no call requirements. This predictable schedule is designed to promote work-life balance and long-term career satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified PMHNP
- Licensed or license-eligible in Nebraska
- Nebraska DEA registration required or ability to obtain
- Strong communicator with a compassionate, professional approach to patient care
