Full-Time 7on/7off Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP / PA| Inpatient | Collaborative, Physician-Led

Ally Psychiatry, a physician-owned and physician-led psychiatric medical group, is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant to join the inpatient team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role offers the opportunity to provide acute psychiatric care in a structured, supportive environment with a predictable 7 on/7 off schedule.

Clinical Setting

You will work in an inpatient psychiatric setting providing care to patients with acute psychiatric needs. Ally Psychiatry operates partnerships spanning more than 55 hospitals and nearly 20 outpatient clinics across nine states, offering a stable clinical infrastructure with established processes and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management for inpatient populations
• Participate in daily rounding, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and care teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care coordination
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards

Schedule

This position offers a 7 on/7 off rotation, providing a predictable schedule with built-in time off for rest, travel, and personal priorities.

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified PMHNP or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience or strong mental health background
• Licensed or license-eligible in Tennessee
• Tennessee DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
• Comfortable working in an inpatient psychiatric setting
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage acute psychiatric presentations
• Collaborative and adaptable approach to patient-centered care
