Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Physician Assistant with addiction medicine experience to provide comprehensive psychiatric care in a residential treatment setting. You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, complete history and physicals, manage medical follow-up, and collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients
- Complete history and physicals
- Provide medical follow-up care
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and collaborative efforts
- Stay current with advancements in psychiatric care and participate in continuing education activities
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Board Certification as PMHNP, FNP, or PA-C
- Active and unrestricted APRN license in Missouri
- DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Missouri
- Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Must be within commuting distance of Winfield, MO (in-person position)
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience working as a PMHNP, FNP, or PA-C
- Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Five days per week with one weekend per month
- Hybrid arrangement
