FT, Hybrid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Physician Assistant with addiction medicine experience to provide comprehensive psychiatric care in a residential treatment setting. You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, complete history and physicals, manage medical follow-up, and collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients
• Complete history and physicals
• Provide medical follow-up care
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
• Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and collaborative efforts
• Stay current with advancements in psychiatric care and participate in continuing education activities

Required Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Board Certification as PMHNP, FNP, or PA-C
• Active and unrestricted APRN license in Missouri
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Missouri
• Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
• Must be within commuting distance of Winfield, MO (in-person position)

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of experience working as a PMHNP, FNP, or PA-C
• Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Five days per week with one weekend per month
• Hybrid arrangement
