FNP-Family Nurse Practitioner

Join our patient-centered integrative healthcare team as a Family Nurse Practitioner providing primary care services across the lifespan. You will deliver comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide patient education in an outpatient clinical setting. This role emphasizes a holistic and natural approach to healthcare while maintaining evidence-based practice standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and screenings
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with regulatory standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols

Required Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited FNP program
• Current and unrestricted Oregon state license as a Nurse Practitioner
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Oregon
• Current BLS certification (ACLS may also be required)
• Excellent communication, clinical, and organizational skills
• Prior experience in primary care or family practice preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHRs)
• Commitment to patient-centered and culturally competent care
• Bilingual ability
