Float Patient Care Technician

DaVita is hiring a Float Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Clinical Setting

You will work in outpatient dialysis clinics, floating between local facilities as needed. The role requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Required Qualifications

• Accredited high school diploma, general education development (GED) credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Ability to float between local clinics as needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA, MA, CHT, or phlebotomy certification
• Prior healthcare experience
