Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) Primary Care Hybrid (In-person and Remote) Clinton Street & Windsor

United Health Services is seeking an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join two busy, well-established outpatient Family Medicine practices serving both pediatric and adult patients in Binghamton, New York. This is a full-time hybrid position supporting both the Clinton Street and Windsor Primary Care offices.

Schedule

This position offers flexibility in scheduling options:

• Standard hybrid: Two days per week on-site at Clinton Street Medical Center with patient-facing clinic care, and three days per week working remotely
• Alternative option: Four-day work week with four 10-hour days (two on-site, two remote)

Patient-facing clinic days are scheduled 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Telehealth days may require some flexibility in hours based on patient and practice needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-facing care at Clinton Street clinic two days per week
• Conduct telehealth visits supporting both Clinton Street and Windsor offices three days per week
• Manage acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan
• Perform preventive care visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications within scope of practice
• Document care in the electronic medical record
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the broader care team
• Provide in-basket coverage as needed

Clinical Setting

This is a 100% outpatient position offering outstanding clinical and administrative support within a collaborative primary care environment. You will work with a team supporting both pediatric and adult patient populations.

Required Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree
• Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse License
• Current New York State Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) license and certification
• American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) board certification
• Certified Prescriptive Privilege in New York State
• National Provider Identification (NPI) number
• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program
• Minimum three years of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting
• Minimum two to three years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, primary care, pediatrics, internal medicine, or a related outpatient setting
• Current CPR certification required within one week of hire, with maintenance during employment

This position is not open to Physician Assistants or new graduate applicants.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (BNDD) Number

Compensation and Benefits

Annual Compensation: $131,900 to $155,200 base salary plus production and quality bonus.
