Experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Montgomery, Alabama

Ally Psychiatry is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient behavioral health team in Montgomery, Alabama. This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday clinic schedule with light call rotation (approximately one weekend per month), collaborative physician support, and strong administrative infrastructure within a clinician-led psychiatric practice.

Clinical Setting

You will work in an established outpatient behavioral health practice with a multidisciplinary team environment. You will collaborate closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes and deliver evidence-based mental health treatment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
• Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care
• Develop individualized behavioral health treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based outpatient mental health treatment
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Participate in shared weekend call rotation

Required Qualifications

• Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Minimum of 1 year PMHNP experience practicing in Alabama
• Active Alabama APRN license
• Active DEA license at time of hire
• Strong clinical assessment and medication management skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday–Friday clinic schedule
• Light call rotation approximately one weekend per month
