Experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Gadsden, Alabama

Ally Psychiatry is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient behavioral health team in Gadsden, Alabama. This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday clinic schedule with one night per week and one weekend per month on-call duties. You will work collaboratively with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff in a clinician-led practice environment that prioritizes provider autonomy and work-life balance.

Clinical Setting

This is an established outpatient psychiatry practice serving the Gadsden community. You will work within a multidisciplinary clinical environment with strong administrative and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
• Provide medication management and ongoing outpatient psychiatric care
• Develop individualized behavioral health treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based mental health treatment in an outpatient setting
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Participate in scheduled evening and weekend call rotation

Required Qualifications

• Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Minimum of 1 year PMHNP experience practicing in Alabama
• Active Alabama APRN license
• Active DEA license
• Strong psychiatric assessment and medication management skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday–Friday outpatient clinic schedule
• One night per week on-call
• One weekend per month on-call
