Endoscopy Registered Nurse - Part-Time/Per Diem - Framingham, MA

Gastro Health is opening a brand new in-office endoscopy suite in Framingham, MA and is seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join the founding clinical team. This part-time/per diem position offers no nights, weekends, or holidays. As a member of a newly established endoscopy suite, you will help build workflows and culture from the ground up. During the initial months of operation, patient volumes will gradually increase, and staff members will be expected to assist in multiple clinical and operational areas, participate in developing workflows, and contribute to building a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in providing direct patient care for colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures
• Complete admission assessments
• Monitor patients receiving IV moderate sedation
• Oversee and participate in the preparation and flow of the procedure room
• Prepare patients for discharge
• Provide post-anesthesia care

Required Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license
• One year of RN experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• PACU experience
• IV skills
