Endo RN-Endoscopy Registered Nurse

MercyOne Genesis is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy department. In this role, you will provide safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for patients ranging from infants through aging adults with gastrointestinal disorders and diseases, pulmonary conditions, and adults requiring prostate seed measurement and placement.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessment, diagnosis, and outcomes identification for patients
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using critical thinking and evidence-based practice
• Adhere to Professional Practice Standards as defined by the American Nurses Association
• Actively participate in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities

Schedule

• 32 hours per week
• Day shift with 10 am flex start time
• Rotating call schedule
• Full-time employment

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Iowa
• Iowa RN license must be maintained throughout employment
• Illinois Registered Nurse license required within 1 year of hire
• Basic Life Support certification from an acceptable credentialing body (such as American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) required within 6 weeks of hire
• Completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to the population served required within 3 months of hire
