Lincoln Crawford Care Center, a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, and long-term care community in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking Registered Nurses for full-time day shift positions. You will deliver high-quality nursing care and ensure positive clinical outcomes for residents from admission through discharge, working closely with physicians, therapists, families, nursing assistants, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate individualized care plans.
Clinical Setting
This position serves residents in a skilled nursing facility with rehabilitation and long-term care services, including memory care and subacute rehabilitation programs. You will work with geriatric populations requiring post-acute care and specialized nursing support.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care including assessments, medication administration, treatments, wound care, and documentation
- Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to physicians and appropriate healthcare team members
- Supervise and support STNAs, CNAs, and other nursing staff
- Coordinate resident care with physicians, therapists, social services, and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate residents and families regarding care plans and treatment goals
- Participate in admissions, transfers, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance with facility standards
- Ensure adherence to state, federal, and local regulations governing skilled nursing and long-term care facilities
- Promote resident safety, dignity, quality of life, and positive healthcare outcomes
Schedule
- Full-time position
- 12-hour day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Current, active, and unencumbered Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license (multi-state nursing license accepted where applicable)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current CPR certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
