Day Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a day-shift position providing one-on-one private duty care to pediatric clients. This role offers a consistent schedule that supports work-life balance while delivering compassionate, high-quality care in clients' homes.

Clinical Setting

Private duty nursing differs from traditional home health visits. You will travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose, building meaningful relationships with your client and their family while watching their milestones. You will care for pediatric clients ranging from infants through geriatric ages, with varying diagnoses and acuity levels.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluation using electronic charting (Statewise)

Schedule and Shifts

Flexible scheduling with no minimums is available. You may work full-time, part-time, or per diem positions. Traditional shift types include 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts.

Compensation and Bonuses

• $30.00-$36.00 per hour (standard)
• $35.00-$40.00 per hour (ongoing weekends)
• $5,000 sign-on bonus
• $1,200 nurse referral bonus
• Weekly pay every Thursday

Training and Support

BAYADA prepares LPNs for success with:

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state
• A minimum of five months of LPN experience
