Day Interventional Radiologist - Western Colorado Radiologic Associates

Western Colorado Radiologic Associates (WCRA) is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Radiologist to join an established, physician-led practice in Grand Junction, Colorado. This partnership-track position offers the opportunity to work alongside two fellowship-trained interventional radiologists at St. Mary's Medical Center, a 310-bed Level II trauma center serving western Colorado and eastern Utah. The ideal candidate will perform a broad range of interventional procedures, including stroke thrombectomy, while also participating in general diagnostic radiology coverage as needed.

Clinical Setting

St. Mary's Medical Center is the largest hospital between Denver and Salt Lake City and the region's only Level II trauma center, providing advanced care in trauma, stroke, oncology, cardiac, women's health, and neonatal services. The practice benefits from modern infrastructure including MosaicOS, an AI-enabled platform designed to streamline reads and improve efficiency, along with 24/7 IT support.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full spectrum of interventional procedures including vascular and non-vascular interventions
• Participate in the stroke thrombectomy program (training available if needed)
• Provide general diagnostic radiology coverage as available
• Collaborate with a supportive subspecialty team of radiologists and advanced practice providers
• Participate in leadership opportunities within a growing interventional radiology program

Required Qualifications

• Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from an ACGME-accredited U.S. program
• Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
• Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR)
• Licensed or ability to obtain licensure in Colorado
• Comfortable with general diagnostic radiology

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with stroke thrombectomy (training available if needed)

Schedule

• No diagnostic evening or weekend coverage required
