CNA Night Shift - Certified Nursing Assistant

NHC HealthCare Columbia is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants for night shift positions to provide direct patient and resident care in a long-term care setting. CNAs are essential members of the care team, supporting patients and residents with daily activities, comfort, safety, and quality of life.

Clinical Setting

NHC HealthCare Columbia is a long-term care facility located at 101 Walnut Lane, Columbia, TN 38401.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation as needed
• Help with meals, hydration, and other daily needs
• Obtain and record vital signs and other information as directed by licensed nursing staff
• Observe patients and residents and promptly report changes in condition or behavior to the nurse
• Respond to call lights and requests for assistance in a timely and compassionate manner
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable patient and resident environments
• Follow infection control, safety, and NHC procedures
• Work closely with nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary team

Required Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Tennessee
• Ability to provide compassionate and respectful hands-on care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable, professional, and committed to quality care

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or healthcare experience

• Night shift
