CNA Certified Nursing Assistant

Willow Tree Post Acute, a skilled nursing facility in Topeka, Kansas, is seeking full-time Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct resident care in a post-acute and long-term skilled nursing setting.

Clinical Setting

Willow Tree Post Acute offers comprehensive after-hospital rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care services.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan
• Perform nursing duties as assigned by nursing management
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment
• Exercise courtesy when interacting with residents, family members, and visitors
• Keep areas clean and safe
• Demonstrate ongoing responsibility and commitment through good attendance and punctuality
• Respect the privacy and dignity of residents

Required Qualifications

• Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of Kansas
• Current CPR for Health Care Providers certification
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work within deadlines
• Ability to maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude with residents, visitors, and co-workers at all times

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous job experience

Schedule

• Full-time position with 8-hour shifts and set schedules
