Hillcrest Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is recruiting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our nursing team at our skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Danville, WV. As a CNA, you will provide direct personal and nursing care to residents, supporting their dignity, comfort, and quality of life in a patient-centered environment.

Clinical Setting

Hillcrest Healthcare Center is a skilled nursing and long-term care facility serving residents who require post-acute care and rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in and receive resident reports at the start and end of each shift
  • Provide personal and nursing care in accordance with each resident's individualized care plan
  • Facilitate and conduct resident activities
  • Monitor and respond to resident requests and needs in a dignified and respectful manner
  • Maintain a clean and pleasant environment for residents
  • Assist in preparing residents for various activities within and outside the center
  • Perform basic nursing care procedures for residents as required
  • Create a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents and ensure their needs are met
  • Ensure that resident food service needs are met in a timely and compassionate manner
  • Maintain resident documentation records for activities of daily living, restorative programs, and resident-specific forms
  • Maintain and work within established departmental, center, and corporate policies and procedures, quality improvement programs, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards
  • Attend and participate in scheduled training, educational classes, and orientation programs to maintain certification and enhance quality of care
  • Perform other related activities as assigned or requested

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program
  • Current CNA certification

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay rate: Up to $18.28 per hour
