CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Training

Ashton Creek Health and Rehabilitation is offering a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program designed to prepare you for a career in acute care nursing. This 120-hour state-approved training program combines classroom instruction with clinical patient experience at our five-star facility, where you will learn to provide compassionate care to residents in our community.

Program Schedule

Classes run October 12 through October 19, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Clinical experience follows the week of October 20-24, Monday through Friday.

Program Overview

The training program includes:

• 120 hours of state-approved classroom and clinical instruction
• On-site training at our facility
• Clinical patient care experience
• Preparation for a high-demand profession

Upon successful completion, Ashton Creek will work to help place you in a full-time or part-time position. The facility also offers monthly free QMA (Qualified Medication Aide) classes for those interested in advancing their career in long-term care.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be 16 years old or older
• Successfully pass the English, Reading, and Math Competency Test
• Pass criminal background check and drug screen
• Demonstrate personal integrity and the ability to work tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, and staff
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and Corporate Compliance requirements
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel, and familiarity with office equipment such as fax and copy machines
