CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)

We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our skilled nursing facility in Santa Fe, NM. In this role, you will provide direct care and support to residents in a long-term care environment, assisting with daily living activities and helping maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide support with feeding and meal service
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and other observations as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• Promote a clean, safe, and supportive environment for all residents
• Report changes in resident condition promptly to nursing staff
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times

Required Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of Vermont
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Dependable work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting

Schedule

• Full-time position, 36 hours per week
• Night shift, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 8-week contract with option to extend
