CNA Certified Nursing Assistant (Multiple Shifts Available)

Medical Park West Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in Norman, OK is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct personal care and support to residents in a long-term and rehabilitative care setting. You will work 8-hour shifts as part of a multidisciplinary team, assisting the charge nurse and contributing to resident-centered care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner that ensures their safety and comfort while supporting facility policies
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents
• Advise the charge nurse of resident status at the beginning and end of each shift
• Contribute knowledge of resident conditions and needs to resident care plans
• Assist in implementing care plans as directed within established policies and procedures
• Observe and report on residents' conditions and document observations as required
• Comply with safe lifting and safe transfer procedures per established policies
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting as required
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment
• Complete other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• State certification as a nursing assistant
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant
• Highly developed observation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts with multiple shifts available
