CNA Certified Nursing Assistant Full Time

SouthPointe Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is recruiting Full Time Certified Nursing Assistants to join our nursing team at our skilled nursing and long-term care center in Indianapolis. As a CNA, you will provide direct personal and nursing care to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans, supporting their dignity, comfort, and quality of life.

Clinical Setting

SouthPointe Healthcare Center is a post-acute care facility providing skilled nursing rehabilitation, long-term care, and related services to adult residents.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and receive resident reports at the start and end of each shift
• Provide personal and nursing care according to each resident's care plan
• Facilitate and conduct resident activities
• Monitor and respond to resident requests and needs in a dignified and respectful manner
• Maintain a clean and pleasant environment for residents
• Assist in preparing residents for various activities within and outside the center
• Perform basic nursing care procedures as required
• Ensure resident food service needs are met in a timely and compassionate manner
• Maintain resident documentation records for activities of daily living, restorative programs, and resident-specific forms
• Maintain and work within established departmental, center, and corporate policies, procedures, quality improvement programs, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards
• Attend and participate in scheduled training, educational classes, and orientation programs to maintain certification and enhance quality of care
• Perform other related activities as assigned or requested

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program
• Current CNA certification

Schedule and Shifts

Full time positions available on the following shifts:

• Days: 6am-2pm
• Evenings: 2pm-10pm
• Nights: 10pm-6am

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting wages: $19-23 per hour (based on experience and shift)
• Weekend Option Program: Work every weekend and receive premium pay up to $27.42 per hour (based on experience and shift)
