Clinical | Travel:(RN) / Operating Room (OR) - Contract - Days

Carlsbad Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for the Operating Room to join their team on a travel contract basis. This is a full-time position available for 8, 10, or 13 week assignments based on facility needs. You will work day shifts in a community hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments
• Document all care provided
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family as appropriate
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual or psychosocial support needs
• Evaluate patient and family learning needs and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients

Required Qualifications

• Minimum one year of acute care experience in a hospital setting
• Current state nursing license
• Degree from an accredited school of nursing
• Appropriate certifications as required for the specific position
• Ability to communicate clearly with proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Demonstrated compliance with code of conduct and facility policies

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay rate: $68.40 to $73.15 per hour
