Clinical | Travel:Registered Nurse (RN) / ICU - Contract - Days

Join Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This is a contract position working day shifts for an 8, 10, or 13 week assignment based on facility needs. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments
• Document all care provided in patient records
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual or psychosocial support
• Evaluate patient and family learning needs and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients

Required Qualifications

• Minimum one year of acute care experience in a hospital setting
• Current state nursing license
• Degree from an accredited nursing school
• Appropriate certifications as required for the ICU position
• Ability to communicate clearly with proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Demonstrated compliance with code of conduct and facility policies
