Clinical | RN - Operating Room - Contract - Days

This is a travel nursing contract position in the Operating Room at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport, Maine. You will work day shifts as part of MaineHealth's network of healthcare facilities, providing direct patient care in a surgical setting. The assignment length is flexible, available for 8, 10, or 13 weeks based on facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care in the operating room
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients

Required Qualifications

• Minimum one year of acute care experience in a hospital setting
• Degree from an accredited nursing school
• Appropriate certifications as required for the specific position
• Ability to communicate clearly and to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Compliance with code of conduct and compliance policies
