Certified Surgical Tech - Main Operating Room- Days

Endeavor Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to join the Main Operating Room at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, Illinois. In this role, you will perform scrub person duties during surgical procedures, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with on-call rotation required. This is a part-time position offering 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub person duties during the intraoperative phase of surgical procedures
• Prepare and dispense instruments, equipment, and supplies required for surgical procedures
• Conduct all instrument, needle, sharps, and sponge counts
• Handle surgical specimens
• Assist in the application of dressings or casts and moving patients
• Assist in decontamination and reprocessing when assigned
• Maintain inventory in the Operating Room and on carts

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist school OR minimum 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call rotation required
• No travel required
