Certified School Nurse

Winding Creek Elementary seeks a Certified School Nurse to provide health services and support to school-aged children. This position is part of the Student Services team within Cumberland Valley School District.

Clinical Setting

You will work in an elementary school environment, supporting the physical and psychological health needs of students.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• CPR certification
• First Aid certification
• Previous nursing experience
• Thorough knowledge of the physical and psychological aspects of school-aged children
• Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential

Interview Requirements

If selected for an interview, you must present the following original documents:

• Copy of current RN license
• Copy of PRAXIS results (if applicable)
• Official college and/or university transcripts

Employment Requirements

If hired, you must submit the following clearances and documentation:

• Criminal Record Check (less than one year old)
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance (less than one year old)
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (less than one year old)
• TB Test/Mantoux (less than three months old)
• Physical examination (if applicable, less than one year old)
