Certified Patient Care Technician - Intensive Care Unit

As a Certified Patient Care Technician in the Intensive Care Unit at Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and support the overall plan of care. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, communicate with the healthcare team, patients, and their families or significant others, and maintain high standards of professional ethics while contributing to quality patient care delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of Patient Care Technician training
• Active Patient Care Technician Certification (CPCT-A)
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS CPR (Basic Life Support) Certification

Additional Requirements

• Ability to complete phlebotomy and EKG training if not included in your certification course curriculum; training will be provided by the organization and must be completed within 90 days of hire
