The opportunity

Job Description

Baptist Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the General Progressive Care Unit at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, located downtown. This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week on the day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses to provide direct patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living
Maintain a safe environment for patients
Collect lab specimens
Monitor intake and output
Document information in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant credential
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Compensation

Up to $500 sign-on bonus for full-time day shift positions
