Certified Nursing Assistant

The Wayne Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in The Bronx, New York is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care to residents in our senior care facility. In this role, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses
• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Perform vital sign checks and report findings to the healthcare team
• Assist with feeding and other activities of daily living
• Support with wound care and other treatments as directed
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate records of patient care
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
