The opportunity
Job Description
Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Surgical Telemetry Unit at Baptist Beaches. This is a full-time position working days with a commitment of 36 hours per week. You will work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, assisting Registered Nurses with the care of patients in a surgical telemetry setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient activities of daily living
- Maintain a safe environment for patients
- Collect lab specimens
- Monitor intake and output
- Document information in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant credential
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Compensation
- Up to $500 sign-on bonus for full-time days CNAs
