Job Description
Skyview Rehab and Nursing in Wallingford, Connecticut is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting. You will work with residents requiring assistance with activities of daily living and personal care, collaborating with nursing staff and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver compassionate, individualized support.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with daily living activities such as toileting, ambulating, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
Required Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Connecticut
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a long-term care setting
