Certified Nursing Assistant - Part Time - Evening Shift

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a part-time evening shift position. In this role, you will provide direct personal nursing care to patients under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse, assisting with activities of daily living and routine clinical tasks.

Clinical Setting

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial is a 190-bed hospital located in San Joaquin County, serving the Lodi area and surrounding communities since 1952. The health system includes 17 medical offices, home care services, and comprehensive cancer care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including nutrition and hydration, elimination, personal care, positioning, devices, restraints, and restorative care
• Take vital signs including pulse and blood pressure
• Help patients with basic needs such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Perform clerical duties including routing patient reports as appropriate
• Use organizational and prioritization skills to support unit operations and meet deadlines
• Provide assessment data to the certified nurse within scope of practice, including vital signs and patient verbal and nonverbal responses
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Schedule

• Part-time, evening shift

Required Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per Adventist Health policy
• High school education or GED or equivalent (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification (in CA and HI)
• Audiometry and vision training or certificate from CHDP (in CA and HI)
