Certified Nursing Assistant - Operating Room

Novant Health Coastal Carolina Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Operating Room. As an OR CNA, you will be an essential member of a collaborative surgical team committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You will work alongside skilled surgeons, nurses, and perioperative professionals in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, safety, and excellence.

Clinical Setting

You will work in the operating room at Novant Health Coastal Carolina Medical Center, supporting surgical procedures and perioperative patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team with preparing patients before surgical procedures
• Transport patients safely to and from the operating room and recovery areas
• Position patients for procedures while ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety
• Support room setup and turnover between cases to promote efficient surgical operations
• Stock and organize surgical supplies, equipment, and linens
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized perioperative environment

Schedule

• Full-time position
• 4 ten-hour shifts per week
• Hours: 0730-1800

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of NAI program
• Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I
• Medication Safety - AME certification
• One year of experience preferred; however, one year of experience in assisted living facilities or long-term care is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic computer skills for documentation
