Mercyhealth is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care in a long-term care setting. In this role, you will respond to patient needs, monitor and document vital signs, and maintain a clean and safe environment. You will work 8-hour day shifts and may float to various units based on patient care needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care as assigned according to standards of care, shift routines, and facility policies and procedures
- Answer call lights in a timely and appropriate manner
- Perform and document temperature, pulse, respiration (TPR), and blood pressure (BP) procedures for all patients
- Document all care provided according to established standards
- Maintain a clean work and patient environment
- Stock supplies and dispose of expired or damaged supplies and equipment
- Ensure supply charge stickers are documented correctly
- Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities
- Float to various units based on identified patient care needs
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant Course
- Current certification as a nursing assistant in your state of practice
- CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days of hire

- Pay range: $18.65 - $27.04 per hour
