Certified Nursing Assistant LLH Saluda/Mathews

Riverside Health System is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care at our Saluda/Mathews location in Mathews, Virginia. You will work under the supervision of nursing leadership to support residents' daily living activities, hygiene, safety, and nutritional needs while maintaining the highest standards of dignity and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) while respecting resident choices, safety, and dignity
• Support residents' hygiene, appearance, safety, and nutritional needs
• Provide care and services to maintain or improve resident functional status to the highest practical ability
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) resident ADL care, personal hygiene, bowel and bladder habits, and behaviors
• Follow universal precautions, proper infection control, sanitation, and safety standards in all work and activities

Required Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) certification from Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) required upon hire
• CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute required within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior nurse aide work experience

Compensation

• Hourly rate: $18.90 - $24.60
• Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors including relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs
