Certified Nursing Assistant - IMCU

Join Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center as a Certified Hospital Technician II supporting the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care and maintain a safe, clean environment for patients.

Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center is a full-service medical center in the South Metro area offering specialties including stroke care, chest pain management, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, cancer care, orthopedic and total joint surgery, a birth center, and a breast health center.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
• Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe patient environment
• Practice basic infection control procedures
• Ensure adequate nutrition and fluid intake
• Recognize and respond appropriately to emergencies
• Document care provided and support patients' activities of daily living
• Contribute to delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining respect for patient dignity, autonomy, and individual routines

Required Qualifications

• Current CNA certificate (Oregon) or current CNA certificate or NAR license (Washington). NAR-licensed CHTs in Washington have 120 days to obtain the CNA certificate.
• BLS for Provider certificate from the American Heart Association
• Basic familiarity with computers preferred

Additional Requirements

• If performing phlebotomy tasks (capillary or venous blood draws) in Washington State, you must be a Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist.

Compensation

• USD $22.32 - USD $31.90 per hour
