Certified Nursing Assistant

Haven of Farmer City is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our long-term care team on a part-time PM shift. In this role, you will provide compassionate, individualized care to our residents while supporting their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, individualized care to residents
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, dining, mobility, and positioning
• Help residents maintain their appearance and encourage independence while supporting their highest possible level of function
• Promote resident safety by following proper infection control policies and procedures
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and fellow team members
• Remain calm and professional in stressful situations while maintaining a positive attitude
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions as appropriate
• Support a positive, respectful, and welcoming environment for residents

Schedule

• Part-time PM shift
• Every other weekend required

Required Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification in accordance with state requirements
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Compliance with applicable state Health Care Worker Background Check requirements
• Proficiency in the technical skills required of a nursing assistant
• Ability to relate positively and favorably to residents, families, visitors, and team members
• Dependable and team-oriented approach to resident care
