CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT FULL TIME NIGHTS

AMG Specialty Hospital - Northwest Indiana is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant for night shifts. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients, and help maintain a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and unit. This is a Long-Term Acute Care hospital that specializes in the management of complex medical needs, with a high staff-to-patient ratio that ensures individualized attention.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living
• Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients
• Assist in maintenance of a safe and clean environment
• Work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge

Schedule

• Full-time, night shifts
• Shift differentials are paid for night and weekend shifts

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of six months to one year of related work experience

Compensation

• Pay rate up to $25.00 per hour depending on experience
