Ingleside at Rock Creek, a not-for-profit Life Plan Community in Washington, DC, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide medical and restorative care for residents in our Memory Support and Assisted Living programs. In this full-time position, you will work directly with residents, assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, providing comfort and transportation, motivating residents to meet their goals, and documenting all care provided.
Clinical Setting
Ingleside at Rock Creek is a CARF-accredited, not-for-profit senior living community located alongside Rock Creek Park. The community is certified as a Great Place to Work and Sage certified.
Responsibilities
- Provide general medical and restorative care for residents on a daily basis
- Interact directly with residents and assist with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Provide comfort, transportation, and motivation to help residents meet their goals
- Document all care provided to residents
- Apply restorative and medical nursing principles and practices
Schedule
Full-time positions are available on the following shifts:
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (8 days per pay period)
- 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (9 days per pay period)
Compensation
- Wage rate: $22.06 to $24.16 per hour, commensurate with experience
- Differentials available for evening, night, and weekend shifts

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three years of clinical nursing experience
- Certified Nursing Assistant certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
- DC license required
- BLS certification
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions
- High-quality verbal and written communication ability
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of restorative and medical nursing principles and practices
