Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team in Grand Island, Nebraska. In this role, you will provide direct care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while working collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Clinical Setting

This position is based in a skilled nursing facility where you will work with residents requiring assistance with daily living activities and mobility support.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates
• Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents' conditions, and other pertinent information in electronic health records
• Report any changes in residents' conditions or concerns to nursing staff or supervisors in a timely manner
• Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents' quality of life
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care

Required Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Nebraska
• Ability to lift and move residents and perform physical tasks associated with patient care

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting

Schedule

• Position Type: Full Time
• Shifts Available: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
