Certified Nursing Assistant / Direct Support

We are hiring Certified Nursing Assistants / Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for multiple immediate openings. In this role, you will provide direct patient care and physical support to patients and residents in daily activities and personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and respond to patient calls
• Assist patients and residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing, and exercising
• Turn and reposition bedridden patients
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure patients receive appropriate nutrition
• Obtain information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses about patient conditions, treatment plans, and suggested activities
• Measure and record food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal output, reporting changes to medical or nursing staff
• Record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate as requested by staff
• Examine patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine
• Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements
• Document observations of patient behavior, complaints, and physical symptoms to nurses
• Maintain current knowledge of CNA training, facility policies, and procedures

Required Qualifications

• State CNA/DSP certification
• CPR/BLS certification
• TB certification
• First Aid certification
• Ability to pass state background check and drug screening
• Willingness to work some weekends

Schedule

• Morning shifts: 7am to 7pm
• Overnight shifts: 7pm to 7am
