Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Weekends

The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the team on a weekend schedule. This position supports residents in a rehabilitation and nursing center setting, providing direct assistance with daily living activities and personal care in a five-star environment.

Clinical Setting

The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale is a rehabilitation and nursing center serving short-term patients under new ownership, focused on providing a high-quality care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, feeding, toileting, and dressing
• Assist residents with dental care, nail care, and hair care
• Turn and position bed-bound residents every couple of hours to prevent skin breakdown and maintain resident comfort
• Monitor and document resident hygiene to keep residents dry and prevent breakdown
• Obtain resident weights when instructed
• Serve food trays to residents and document food and fluid intake and output in medical records
• Inventory and mark all resident possessions
• Make resident beds and maintain clean, tidy rooms
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information
• Ensure resident privacy at all times

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Florida
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good physical and mental health
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group
• Effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in long-term care

Compensation

• Pay based on experience starting at $16 per hour
