Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)- Weekends

Encore Parkside is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to work weekends and provide direct resident care in a long-term care setting. As a CNA, you will be the first point of contact for residents each morning and play a vital role in supporting their daily activities and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and physical support to residents to help them function at their highest level of independence
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating and feeding, bed mobility and positioning, continence care and toileting, and ambulation or wheelchair mobility
• Provide behavioral support to residents
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
• Communicate changes in residents' condition and function to the nurse immediately when noted
• Complete assigned CNA documentation including progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid intake, bowel sheets, and ADLs
• Communicate with residents, families, and coworkers using a pleasant and positive approach
• Respect residents' rights to privacy and dignity
• Perform assigned tasks as directed by the Unit Manager

Required Qualifications

• Current State of Delaware CNA Certificate
• Current CPR Card

• $25.00 per hour
