Job Description

Greenbrier Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is recruiting Certified Nursing Assistants to join our nursing team in a long-term care setting. In this role, you will provide direct personal and nursing care to residents, supporting their dignity, comfort, and quality of life each day.

Clinical Setting

Greenbrier Healthcare Center is a skilled nursing and long-term care facility located in Parma Heights, Ohio. You will work as part of a nursing team dedicated to resident-centered care in a community-based healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in and receive resident reports at the start and end of each shift
  • Provide personal and nursing care in accordance with individual resident care plans
  • Facilitate and conduct activities for residents
  • Monitor and respond to resident requests and needs in a dignified and respectful manner
  • Maintain a clean and pleasant environment for residents
  • Assist in preparing residents for various activities within and outside the center
  • Perform basic nursing care procedures for residents as required
  • Create a clean, comfortable, and safe environment and ensure resident needs are met
  • Ensure resident food service needs are met in a timely and compassionate manner
  • Maintain resident documentation records for activities of daily living, restorative programs, and resident-specific forms
  • Maintain and work within established departmental, center, and corporate policies and procedures, quality improvement programs, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards
  • Attend and participate in scheduled training, educational classes, and orientation programs to maintain certification and enhance quality of care
  • Perform other related activities as assigned or requested

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program
  • Current CNA certification

Schedule and Employment

  • Various shifts available including full-time, part-time, and PRN positions
